J. Michael Parvis, specialist at the Dept. of Human Resources, joins audiologist Ronna Fisher, founder of Hearing Health Centers, whom he nominated for the Interagency Committee Award (IAC) of Merit. The award honors organizations that have demonstrated unique, noteworthy, thoughtful and meritorious service to deaf/blind individuals. Fisher accepted the award at a recent IAC Recognition Conference in Lisle, IL.
